		<description>I used to use AVG exclusively along with comodo firewall.  The problem I found is that avg often had significant problems when versions needed to be upgraded (not for definition updates but for actual program updates).  This was an issue on multiple windows XP boxes, so it wasn&#039;t an isolated problem with a single install.  When comodo came out with their antivirus addition, I removed avg and added comodo.  I also use Malwarebytes AntiMalware and SuperAntispyware to help increase broad coverage.  

It&#039;s really a pity that Norton and McAfee became monstrosities.  I remember using McAfee from a dos command-line, and I remember when you could renew your Norton subscription without having to have to uninstall and reinstall a completely new program.</description>
